THE NEW UNIQLO U COLLECTION HAS LANDED & IT’S AS COSY AS EVER

Once again, Japanese powerhouse Uniqlo have delivered the designer goods (without the designer price-tag) thanks to the third drop of their iconic & much-hyped Uniqlo U capsule collection. With Uniqlo art director  Christophe Lemaire (aka ex-Hermes-royalty) at the helm the range is cool girl French chic meets structured yet cosy basics. Each piece has been created in their Parisien atelier using cutting edge techniques, so you know the quality is unbeatable. Plus they all have that incredible Uniqlo fit that I’ve grown to know & love, so once again I leave their store with more shopping bags than I know what to do with….

The range showcases freshly unique shapes whilst boasting the use of advanced materials & stunning muted tones. Uniqlo U is the definition of reinvented wardrobe essentials & distinct basics that you didn’t even know you needed. Think comfort, volume, quality, & that French attention to detail. Each piece has been aesthetically created to bring softness, simplicity & warmth into your day. When in transitional seasons like this, it’s exactly what your closet needs.

I am loving this neutral colour palette, and the contrasting cosy textures are bliss. Now word on the street is Lemaire’s renowned knits sell for upwards of $800 at his namesake label, but this oversized sweater dress made from premium merino wool blends is only $80! Plus I cannot tell you how many comments I have had towards this teddy-bear-esque fleece coat after living in it last weekend on my instagram story. It’s everything you want in a throw over jacket & is the definition of liveable. We had the cosiest weekend down in wine country (in the cutest cottage ever) & this fleece was absolutely perfect for this unpredictable spring weather. I am very much tempted to get one in every colour! To be honest, I want to snap up the entire collection in every shade. Don’t you?
